bioPVC offer

bioPVC™

The PVC Problem — PVC is extremely durable which prevents it from breaking down in the landfills where used copies typically get deposited. This has created a major waste problem that can only be overcome by employing more expensive, eco-friendly alternatives… until now!

Why biodegradable plastic?

Today’s most popular waste stream for key cards—from wallet to curb to landfill—doesn’t accommodate standard PVC, PLA or rock paper very well. The majority of these materials are not being recycled and buildup in our public landfills with a negative impact on our environment.

Biodegradable plastic is different because it breaks down when buried in public landfills, does not harm the environment, and provides long term benefits to the soil.

Once a card made of bioPVC™ is deposited into a fertile environment (compost, land fill, trash dump, the ground, lakes, rivers and the ocean), microorganisms begin to break down the molecules into humus, carbon dioxide and non-toxic chloride. The process adds natural amendments to the soil, benefits plant life and forms methane gases that can be used to make electricity.
